is different...

ive been here for more than 3 weeks, almost a month actually, and its still weird. i like it and i dont like it. for some reason, i still feel like im here for camp or something and that pretty soon ill just go home and go back to high school. EWW. college is so much better than high school. i only have to go to class for a maximum of 3 hours everyday. its ridiculous though because you would think that i would have so much freetime everyday but somehow i dont! my days are still filled up and i get really tired at night...o.0.

classes are going well. even though i was extremely doubtful of art history and astronomy in the beginning, they have actually become my two favorite classes. my ugs course is boring as heck and macro is just not what i thought it was going to be. plus ive discovered that the prof. is a jerk. anywaaaaaay...my workload as of right now is apparently very minimal compared to my neighbors. theyre all engineering majors and they come back to the dorms at 2 or 3 in the morning from the library. WHAT. i havent even been inside the library...i probably couldnt even find it without a map yet. i feel really unmotivated....T_T

i still havent chosen a ministry or church yet either. ive visited aacm, the navigators and epic and i like something about all of them and i really cant choose. theres another one called acts that i want to try out. hopefully ill able to make a decision in another week or so. i know God will answer my prayers some day. =]

OHOHOH. i joined the lion dancing club hahaha. i dont even know why. but i did. ill see how that goes...

URGGGGGGH!

i totally promised myself that i would start writing on xanga again at the beginning of the summer. now here i am rushing to get one in the night before i move off to college. great job danielle...

i feel so weird right now. cant really describe the feeling. its actually a mixture of A LOT of feelings. cant believe that im legally an adult. and that im going off to college. and ill be independent! wow...but im excited for new experiences.

i really have to get to bed now. the next time i write will be in college! EEEEEEEEEEK.

Dear Xanga,

I'm sorry I've been such a bad owner. It's been about 3 weeks since I've last written to you and there were many times when I could've. I guess senioritis has already kicked in. I promise that I'll try to make this one good, ok?

schools been relatively relaxed so far. all my teachers are really cool and dont seem like they care too much about doing work in class which i am absolutely ok with. i havent yet needed to check parent portal so i guess thats a good sign. i did start college apps though and it is just a super tiring job. why does it need to be so complicated?? it took me all last sunday to write just one essay and it ended up only to be a page and a quarter. i cant wait til i get done with them...=(

and guard? guards been fun but 3 thursday games in a row is a killer. there was a black out at the game this week and we didnt even get to perform and ashley was supposed to be there. RAWR. of all days....couldnt it just wait until the black out game?? aish...but at least my fridays are mostly free so i can go to church. =D

i recently fell in love with the sound of the cello. its not that ive never heard it before but when i was listening to wayne and betty and peter practice for their ensemble, it sounded soooo different. maybe its cause peters super good but it was so soothing. maybe i can learn when i grow up but that mostly likely wont happen, just like everything else i plan to do.

I guess thats it for today. I don't think I'll be able to make many lengthy entries this semester, or at least until I'm mostly done with applications but maybe I'll make a few surprise visits. Take care, Xanga!
